A Skylark is a small bird. Weighs about 40 g. It sings on the fly, stays high in the sky for several minutes then subsides and falls down. The skylark's song consists of ringing quick trills. Skylarks live in steppes, forest-steppes and fields, and also in large rive-valleys. The birds build their nests on the ground, in the holes. Eat insects and wild plants seeds.

A song trush is a small bird. The body length is about 20-25cm. Its song sounds like ringing flute whistles, which are especially strong in the morning and in the evening. The birds live in wet dark-fir needles and mixed forests with underwood and light areas. They build nests on the trees. Eat invertebrates, berries, seeds, various leaves, often eat cancroids and mollusca.

A goldfinch is one of the most beautiful Russian singing birds. The birds are twittering on the fly. When quarreling, the birds produce sharp ckracking sounds. Their songs comprise up to 20 variuos trills. The Goldfinch lives in greenwoods and mixed forests and also in parks. The birds build their nests on the trees and in the bushes. They eat seeds of thistle and bur and feed their nestlings with insects.

A Blue throat is a bird of a sparrow size. Its tinkly song consists of twittering, clacking and whistling trils. The birds are fasts runners. When they stop they twich their tails. They live in the bushes near water, build their nests on the ground under thick branches of the bushes. the birds eat insects and maggots.

The nightingale is a small bird, weighs about 25g. As nightingales are not born with the skill to sing, young birds are taught to sing by their elders, that's why there are both good and second-rate singers. The song of a nightingale consists from whistling, clicking and rumbling sounds. The nightingale lives on woodsides, in gardens and parks, and prefers places with wet ground. The birds build their nests on the ground under the bushes or on the barrel pins. Eat ants, bugs and insects from a wood laying.
