The International Olympic Committee is the highest continuing body of the modern Olympc movement. It was created in 1894 by P.de Kubertain. The main office of the Committee is situated in Lausanne (Switzerland). The stamp features a flag with the Olympic emblem: five bound rings of blue, black, red (the top line), yellow and green (the bottom line) - a symbol of five continents incorporated by the Olympic movement. The emblem was offered by P.de Kubertain in 1913.
