Anatoly Serov (1910-1939) is a Soviet military aviator, brigade commander, Hero of the Soviet Union. He was in fighter aviation, served as test-pilot. As a volunteer, he struggled fascism in Spain (1937-1938), commanding fighter avia-detachment and then squadron. He took part in 40 air battles, personally shot down 8 aircrafts of the enemy. Since 1938 he was the head of the Main flight inspection of air forces of the Red Army. He was awarded by Order of Lenin and 2 Orders of Red Banner.
The stamp represents the portrait of A. Serov and aircraft I-15.
