Valentin Petrovich Glushko (1908-1989), the academician of the Academy of sciences of the USSR, is the soviet scientist in the space-rocket technique sphere. He has created the first electro thermal jet engine in the world and prime domestic liquid jet engines used at the first and second steps of domestic carrier rockets and on combat missiles, he has developed original structures of fuel. Stamp shows V.P.Glushko's portrait against the engine invented by him, and also a rocket where is established jet engine created by the scientist.
