Gold. One of the most ancient minerals people know. Soft, of a bright-yellow color. Often can be found in different minerals as small grains. Gold contains notable admixture of silver. It can be often found in hydrothermal lodes with quartz, carbonates and sulphides. Is won from deposits, where it gets into due to the erosion of ledge ores. Big natural units of native gold in ledge ores are referred to nuggets. Ural and the area of the river Lena in eastern Siberia are very rich of the nuggets.
