The construction of the Faceted Hall started in 1487 by M.Ruffo and was finished in 1491 by P.A.Solari. The hall is faced with tetrahedral limestone blocks which gave the Hall its name. There is a 9 meters high hall on the first floor. When the Faceted Hall was being constructed it was the highest hall in the state. The Faceted Hall was the venue for state ceremonies.

Church of the Deposition of the Robe was built in 1484-1488 by Pskov architectures on the site of a same name church which was destroyed by fire in 1479. This was the domestic chapel of Russian Mitropolits. The iconostasis of the Chuch created in 1627 and the murals dating back to 1640s are of particular value. The church is adjacent to a gallery via which Russian Tsarinas and Princesses made their way to the Cathedral of Dormition.

The Tower-Chamber (Teremnoy) Palace (1635-1636, by A. Konstantinov, T. Shaturin, L. Ushakov, B. Ogurtsov). The Palace houses the official state rooms of Russian Tsars Vasiliy III and Ivan IV. It is a a five-storeyed building. In the 16th century the ground floor served for utility rooms, Masterskie Rooms occupied the first floor, offices were situated on the second floor and the Tsar suite occupied the third floor.
