Republic of Kalmykia - Halm Tangch. Is situated in the far south-east of the European part of the Russian Federation. The centre is Elista (founded in 1865). The stamp features the composition, in the centre of which there is a building of the Kalmyk hurul "Syakyusn Syume" (Elista, 1996). In the foreground there are horses symbolizing one of the branches of farming - animal husbandry, which is popular in Kalmykia, a spring heath with flowering tulips. The composition of the stamp is complemented by the the Kalmyk decor.

Republic of Mariy El. Is situated in the far south-east of the European part of the Russian Federation, mainly on the left bank of the Volga. The centre is Yoshkar-Ola (founded in 1584). The stamp features summer landscape: the view from the right bank of the Volga in Gornomariyski district of the Republic. On the right upper part of the stamp there is a picture of an ancient Mariy nick-nack (9th-11th centuries) and the Mariy decor.

Republic of Tatarstan. Is situated in the far south-east of the European part of the Russian Federation. The centre is Kazan (founded in 14th century). On the right part of the stamp there is a decked tower Syuyumbeki (the end of the 12th - the first part of the 13th century, Kazan, the Kremlin). On the left part of the stamp there is the view of the right bank of the Kama passing on the territory of Tatarstan for the space of 380km. The composition is complemented by the Tatar decor.

Udmurt Republic. Is situated in the interfluve of the Kama and the Vyatka. The centre is Izhevsk (founded in 1760). The stamp features a monument "With Russia Forever" (Izhevsk, 1972. Sculptor A.N.Burganov, architect R.K.Topuridze). On the background there is a landscape with a lake and the Udmurt ornament.

Chuvash Republic - Chavash Republic.Is situated to the east of the East-European Plain, mainly on the right bank of the Volga. The centre is Cheboksary (founded in 1469). The stamp features the memorial in honour of the freewill reunion of the Chuvash Republic with Russia (Cheboksary, 1972, sculptor F.I.Madurov, architect Yu.M.Novosyolov). In the background there is the view of the river Sura in the level land of the Republic and the Chuvash decor.

Yamal-Nenetskiy autonomy. Is situated in the north of The Western-Siberian Plain. About a half of the territory is in the Arctic Circle. The centre is Salekhard (founded in 1595).The stamp features a memorial emblem "Arctic Circle" (Salekhard, 1980, architects V.G.Kaigorodov, V.I.Musikhin). In the backgroung there is the forest-tundra, aurora borealis and Yamal-Nenetskiy decor.
