It was for the first time in the space exploration history that a large-sized space system of 220 tons with international flight crew operated on the earth orbit in 1995. The series is devoted to the space coupling of the Russian Mir station and the American spaceship "Atlantis" (29.06.-4.07.1995), and also to the 20th anniversary of the experimental flight of the spaceships "Soyuz-19" (15.07. - 21.07.1975) and "Apollo" (15.07. - 25.07.1975). These spaceships are featured on the stamps.
