Architect Y.G.Bukhvostov. The Cathedral is domineering in the Ryazan Kremlin. The cube-shaped five-dome building is decorated in Naryshkin Barocco style and boasts the state-of-the-art white-stone carvings. The Catherdal houses its original iconostasis and murals which date back to 19 c. The forged crosses on the domes (17c – 18c) and the forged doors of the facades are of particular value. The stamp also features the bishop's chambers built in 1653-1655, and a view of the Epiphany church (1647) of the Spassky Monastery (14 c) in the Kremlin. The text reads "Ryazan" and “900” and is surrounded by antique Russian decorative elements.
