In 2011, in continuation of the series «Russia. Regions» three postage stamps dedicated to the Tambov, Tyumen and Novgorod Regions are issued. The Novgorod Region was formed on July 5, 1944; it is part of the Northwestern Federal District. The stamp depicts: the main dome of St. Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod, Lake Ilmen and Novgorod Museum of wooden architecture "Vitoslavlitsy", founded in 1964.

The Tambov Region was formed on September 27, 1937. About 1/10 part of its territory is covered by forests. The stamp depicts: monument to a peasant of Tambov in the city of Tambov, Nikiforovsky Sugar Plant, apple breeds of the All-Russia Scientific Research Institute of Horticulture named after. I. V. Michurin and river Tsna.

The Tyumen Region was formed on August 14, 1944. About 90% of its territory is assigned to the Far North regions, or equated to them. The basic part of the Russian oil and gas reserves is concentrated in the Tyumen Region. The stamp depicts: Tobolsk Kremlin, tundra and oil pumping units in the Tyumen Region;
