№ 1208. The year of 2007 – a year of the Russian language.

In the frameworks of the Russian Language Year the Russian Center for International Scientific and Cultural Cooperation (Roszarubezhtsentr) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation will hold numerous cultural, scientific and educational events (festivals of Russian Language, international forums, seminars for russists, exhibitions, Olympiads and contests) in different countries all over the world. In the beginning of 2007 in the Russian House of Culture and Science in Berlin there was held the presentation of the program “The Russian Language Year in Germany”. Several dozens of the state and public organizations representatives, the Association of Teachers of Russian Language in Germany members, employees of the best German universities and schools with Russian Language took part in this presentation. At the stamp is depicted the Russian House of Culture and Science in Berlin.
