A se-tenant strip of 3 stamps and a coupon dedicated to the World Natural Heritage of Russia – The Virgin Forests of Komi Republic. This area is the most sizeable European woodland of north taiga forests almost undisturbed by human activities. The territory consists of two protected areas: the Pechory - Ilychsky Natural Reserve and the Yugyd-Va National Park. Also located here is where the Pechora river, one of the greatest European rivers, begins its flow and the Upper Pechora. The Virgin Komi Forests is the first Russian natural site that has been inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List.
