During the Great Patriotic War it was created the most powerful network of military counterintelligence in our country, and its tradition is still going on. The important strategic tasks of identifying of enemy agents, anti-sabotage, terrorism and desertion are performed due to counterintelligence officers. They often fought on the front lines.

Alexander Galushkin (1903-1942) - the military counter-intelligence of the Black Sea Fleet, battalion commissar, a member of the defense of the Crimea.

 

Pavel Silaev (1916-1942) - the military counter-intelligence of the Black Sea Fleet, junior political officer, a member of the defense of Sevastopol.
