№ 1230. Letter. Issue on “Europe”Programme.

History of letters occurrence as the history of news exchange, originates for a long time. The first letters were transferred by means of a fire smoke, blows in an alarm drum, sounds of pipes. Later the birch-bark letters-gramotki have appeared, and the way of an information transfer with the dispatch herald transferring oral messages has arisen trace. Such messenger memorized "letter" according to the sender, and then retold to its addressee. With literacy and then post service development, letters which transfers for convenience and preservation of confidentiality of the message, which now were sealed in envelopes, began to appear. Nowadays, days of the developed information technologies the electronic letter has come to our life, but despite of convenience of transfer and speed of delivery, it is not capable to replace up to the end the habitual letter in an envelope.
