It will be 250th years of the Russian Academy of Arts in 2007. "The Academy of 3 the noblest Arts " was established by Senate's decree in Saint-Petersburg in 1757 . A great deal of engravings, pictures, drawings and moulds from the collection of the founder and the 1st president of the Academy, count I.I.Shuvalov, who made up the first collection of the museum, arrived to the Academy in a year already. A fragment of "Minerva" composition, situated on the main dome of the RAH in Saint-Petersburg, is depicted on the block stamp.The front of the building of Russian Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg, the project of which was worked out by the first academic professor of architecture Zh.B.Vallen-Delamot (1729-1800), is depicted on the margins of the block, the old emblem of the old Russian Academy of Arts is on the left.
