The Regional community in communication field is a permanently functioning organization, uniting ministers of informational technologies and communication of all CIS countries. The Regional Community in Communication Field was founded on the 17th of December, 1991. The establishing of the Regional Community was connected with the beginning of the new political and economical life of independent states. During short period of its activity the Regional Community in Communication Field has received an international recognition. It has a status of observer in the International Council of the Electric Communication (MSE) and in the International Postal Union (VPS).
