The Moscow Kremlin is one of the largest architectural complexes in the world. It is situated on the Borovitsky Hill, where a Slavonic settlement which gave birth to the city was situated in the 11th-12th cc. The unique museum complex comprises Oruzheynaya Palata (Armory Palace), Uspensky, Arkhangelsky, Blagoveshcensky cathedrals, the Church of the Deposition of the Virgin’s Robe (Rizpolozheniya), the Church of Twelve Apostles, Ivan the Great Bell Tower, ordnance and bells.
