In 1902 the theatre moved to the new premises, the house which was rebuilt by F.O.Shekhtel. Moscow Art Theatre was established by the distinguished cultural leaders V.I.Nemirovich-Danchenko and K.S.Stanislavsky. Moscow Art Theatre reformed the repertoire, the art of acting, and directing, and greatly influenced world theatre. The stamp features characters of various plays staged at Moscow Art Theatre over the years.
